Request A QuoteTool Description
A Subland Drill (2-2) is two drills of different diameters combined into one tool while retaining the individual characteristics and proper geometry of each. The independent flutes and margins maintain the concentricity between diameters throughout the life of the tool and are not affected by re-sharpening.
Applications for Subland Drill 2-2
Subland Drills (2-2) eliminates operations by drilling two diameter holes such as drill-drill, drill-chamfer, drill-counterbore, etc., in one production step.
Limitations
The Subland Drill is not practical with a small diameter less than 45% of the large diameter
